Kombat League is a limited time ranked mode in MK11 where players climb a new ranking ladder filled with missions to complete and gear to score before getting reset for the new season. The Saurian rebirth is reference to Reptile's tribe of people in Mortal Kombat lore with their green, scaly skin and piercing yellow eyes that certainly make them stand out among the crowd. Reptile is of course one of the few classic ninjas who are not playable in MK11 alongside Smoke and Ermac though the acid-spitting follower of the Kahns is referenced at multiple points throughout the game - even in Rain's recent gameplay trailer.
